Sigurður Einar Sigurðsson from the Icelandic team presented the “Making It Work” project in November at the Fourth Global Forum on Human Resources for Health in Dublin. Nearly a hundred people took part in the conversation and report review. Discussion on issues with recruitment and retention was enthusiastic, recognizing the commonality between sparsely populated areas of the other continents. The Steering Committee also took advantage of the conference attendance, and met to advance the “Making it Work” priorities.
