The first steering committee meeting of Canada’s MIW Project Steering committee was held this week, and included delegates from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (www.nosm.ca), the Government of Nunavut (www.gov.nu.ca), Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (www.tunngavik.com), and Qaujigiartiit Health Research Centre (www.qhrc.ca)
In Canada, the “Making it Work” project will be led by the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (www.nosm.ca). It will focus on physician recruitment in Nunavut, one of Canada’s Arctic Territories.
